Mission: Impossible 7 is definitely on a roll with the latest installment that is looking likely to become a major blockbuster. In India, the film has already garnered a staggering Rs 12.5 crore in revenue on the opening day alone and looks set to be doing even better in the coming days at the box office.
The Christopher McQuarrie directed movie with a star cast of Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson, Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg and music by Lorne Balfe is the MI franchise's biggest Indian opening since 2018's Mission: Impossible - Fallout, which had a Rs 9.25 crore nett opening in India and ended up grossing about Rs 80 crore.

Starting on July 21, the movie will have stiff competition from Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer and Greta Gerwig's Barbie, which are two equally hyped and anticipated films. According to Variety, at the global box office, Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One is predicted to earn between $85 and $95 million in North America and $160 million overseas in its first five days of release.
Right now, the opening day projections exactly match the Fast X opening, which was valued at Rs 12.5 crore, which had an array of stars in it, including Vin Diesel, Jason Momoa and Michelle Rodriguez.

However, MI has clearly surpassed other well-known Hollywood films that released this year, such as John Wick: Chapter 4 (Rs 10 crore), Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (Rs 9 crore), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (Rs 7.30 crore), and Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (Rs 2 crore).
