Insiders claim Miley has extended an olive branch, hoping to clear the air after a breakup that left several unresolved emotions.

Miley is currently engaged to drummer Maxx Morando, yet sources suggest her past with Liam continues to weigh on her. Insiders insist her intention is not to reopen old chapters but to finally say the things that were never said.




One source shared, “As much as Miley has tried to move on, she’s really had a tough time,” adding that closure matters deeply to her.

They further explained, “She is the type of person who hates leaving things unsaid, and she swears that’s the reason she wants to see Liam. He was her first everything. She truly believed they were destined to be together forever, and she regrets a lot of the way things went down toward the end of their relationship.”

A love story that shaped a decade

Miley and Liam first met in 2009 on the sets of The Last Song. What followed was a decade-long, on-and-off relationship that captured global attention. They tied the knot in December 2018, only to part ways a little over a year later. Their divorce was finalised in February 2020.

Miley has previously admitted that she still holds on to memories from that period. In an earlier interview with Vogue, she said, “I literally have a dress that I had on when I met my ex-husband, and then I have my dress that I wore on our first date.”
