Mia Wasikowska to star in 'Judy and Punch'

Actor Mia Wasikowska has been roped in to star in the live-action retelling of the

Hollywood

classic '

Judy and Punch

'. To be directed by Mirrah Foulkes, the film follows two puppeteers, the vain but charismatic Punch and his resilient and talented wife Judy (Wasikowska) as they attempt to resurrect their show to escape their decrepit town of Seaside.


Reportedly, film is 'a crazy mix of fantasy, feminism and fanaticism', said Foulkes. The film will produced by Blue Tongue Films.
