Meryl Streep’s daughter, Louisa Jacobson Gummer, opened up about her relationship with her girlfriend, Anna Blundell, in a recent social media post. There are several reports that Louisa came out on Meryl’s birthday on June 22.

She shared a picture of herself with Anna and a screenshot of an article saying, “We’re Entering a Joyful New Era of Lesbian Fashion.” Louisa wrote, “Blessed to be entering the Joyful New Era bb.” A lot of fans and social media users reacted to the revelation in a positive way. One wrote, “Coming out at your mom’s birthday is so iconic.” Another wrote, “We’ll support you in every era, kiddo!” Many of them wished the couple a “Happy Pride.”
It seems like Louisa has been dating Anna Blundell for a while now, as she used to share many pictures and glimpses with Anna on her Instagram. In a previous post, she dropped a picture with Anna and wrote, “Life is so fun and cool & I’m the luckiest!!!”
Louisa is the youngest daughter of Meryl Streep and Don Gummer and has a master's degree in fine arts in acting from the Yale School of Drama. She started her acting career with the TV movie "Gone Hollywood" in 2019 and gained popularity after her performance in the 2022 HBO Max period drama "The Gilded Age."
