Meet the cowboys

The debonair and sexy James Bond will now be seen as a scruffy cowboy in DreamWorks Studios’ and Reliance Entertainment’s Cowboys and Aliens.
Daniel Craig is back sharing screen space with Harrison Ford and Olivia Wilde of the TV series OC. The film, set in 1873 Arizona, shows a loner named Jake Lonergan (Daniel) who awakens with the memory of his past and a mysterious shackle around his wrist.He learns that he is a notorious criminal wanted by many people, including Colonel Dolarhyde (Harrison). But Absolution soon faces an even greater threat when alien spaceships attack the town.
Cowboys and Aliens is an action packed film with two different themes — westerns and aliens. It has sci-fi, elaborate action sequences with space machines and gadgets and at the same time grungy western fist fight and horse riding sequences .
Interestingly, Craig, Ford and Wilde have done most of their action sequences themselves. For one of the sequences, Olivia Wilde had to do a stunt where she had to wear a bungee cord attached to a crane and gets pulled 40 feet into the air. Harrison Ford, has also done his horse riding, fist fighting and the elaborate spaceship fights on his own. Daniel Craig, known for his impressive action sequences as James Bond, has performed some never seen before stunts which impressed director Jon Favreau.
Reliance Entertainment will release Cowboys and Aliens, on July 29.
