After the record-breaking trailer launch of the Tom Holland-led 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day', Marvel Studios has sent fans into a spin by adding three new films to its release slate.
In a newly unveiled slate of release dates for upcoming films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, three untitled Marvel film slots were added to its calendar: July 28, 2028; May 4, 2029; and July 13, 2029. While no titles have been officially confirmed, fans speculated that the announcement could just signal its roadmap beyond the current Multiverse Saga, which is expected to conclude with 'Avengers: Secret Wars' in 2027. Marvel adds three films to lineup
With these three films added to the lineup post-2028, it could indicate that these newly announced projects are the official first glimpse into what is being referred to as Marvel's Phase 7. Among the potential titles speculated to fill in these currently vacant slots, is 'Black Panther 3', with pre-production currently underway. Director Ryan Coogler confirmed the project is his next film and will follow the events of 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever'.
Fans speculate next superhero film
Also featured among the likely candidates is the long-delayed reboot of the vampire film 'Blade'. Other anticipated projects that could feature in Phase 7 include a sequel to 'Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings', directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, who is also helming 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day'.Phase 7 to unleash Mutant saga
Other notable mentions also include the long-awaited X-Men reboot, which has been introducing several mutant characters over the past years, in films like 'Deadpool and Wolverine', 'The Marvels', 'Avengers: Doomsday' and 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day'. With the mutants expected to play a major role in the next phase, it wouldn't be a surprise if an 'X-Men' film featured in the lineup.Get the latest entertainment updates from the Times of India, along with the
