Marc Anthony weighs in on the ongoing Beckham family feud, says the situation is ‘hardly the truth’

Famed musician Marc Anthony recently opened up about his thoughts on the Beckham family feud. In a recent interview, the 57-year-old singer got honest about what he thought about the publicized family feud and what is really happening behind the scenes. The comments come only a few weeks after Brooklyn Beckham shared multiple posts online condemning his parents’ actions.

While sitting down for an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Anthony was asked about his thoughts on the ongoing feud that Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz have with his family. The musician is known to be a close friend of the family.




He shared that “I have nothing to say about what’s happening with the family," he told the outlet. "They’re a wonderful, wonderful family. I’ve known them since before the kids were born. I’m godfather to Cruz. I’m really close to the family.” He further added that even though he has nothing to say of his own about the matter, he known how unfortunate the situation is for everyone involved. “But [how it’s playing out] is hardly the truth,” he added on.

A few weeks ago, Brooklyn Beckham took to his social media account and shared a series of messages on his stories section about the ongoing reports about him and his family. He had alleged a lot of things had gone wrong with his parents over the years and that he did not want to stay in contact with them.

Part of his post read, “I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared. I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose and have found peace and relief. My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want peace, privacy, and happiness for us and our future family.”

Brooklyn Beckham and wife Nicola Peltz have been in an ongoing feud with Beckham’s family for the past few years. The feud reportedly started with their wedding, when Brooklyn alleged that his mother did not act appropriately during the ceremony. He has further stated on multiple occasions that he does not wish to stay in contact with his parents, and has appointed lawyers to be the main bridge of contact between the two of them.
