Lady Gaga sings classic song from Easter Parade on the Joker: Folie A Deux set

Lady Gaga has been setting the world on fire ever since she burst onto the music scene in 2006. She also made headlines for singing the Oscar nominated song, Hold My Hand for Top Gun: Maverick live at the Oscars.

In a clip that is going viral on social media, Lady Gaga sang the classic song, We’re a Couple of Swells from the 1948 film Easter Parade which everyone on the sets of Joker: Folie a Deux appears to have thoroughly enjoyed. It was a beautiful retro vibe that coloured the film set.

Joker: Folie à Deux will continue from where the previous movie left off, with the Joker being held captive at Arkham Asylum. It seems clear from what we know about the first movie and the setting of this particular song that Gaga's Harley Quinn will support Arthur Fleck or the Joker in the sequel.

Easter Parade is a 1948 film, which starred Fred Astaire and Judy Garland and was about a dancer who chooses to replace his regular professional partner with the prima ballerina he meets. Judy Garland plays the brilliant dancer who accidentally crosses Astaire's path, and he is immediately drawn to her.
