Kim Kardashian graduates law school without a degree — Here’s how she did it

Kim Kardashian has officially graduated from law school — without ever attending college or enrolling in a traditional law school program.

As reported by Hindustan Times, the reality TV icon and entrepreneur achieved this milestone through California’s rare but legal apprenticeship pathway known as “reading the law,” which allows aspiring lawyers to study under practicing attorneys instead of attending law school.

Inspired by her late father

Kim’s decision to pursue a legal career was inspired by her late father, Robert Kardashian, a well-known attorney who was part of O.J. Simpson’s defense team. Instead of following the conventional law school route, Kim took advantage of a California law that permits legal apprenticeships as a substitute. California, along with Virginia, Vermont, and Washington, is one of the few states that allow individuals to become lawyers without a law degree.

Her program required a four-year apprenticeship, working at least 18 hours a week, with five of those under direct supervision by a licensed attorney. In addition to practical training, the process also includes monthly tests and biannual reports submitted to the California bar. After six years of dedicated study, Kim completed her legal apprenticeship, allowing her to sit for the bar exam.

Kim Kardashian marked her law school graduation with a private commencement ceremony attended by family and close friends at the Beverly Hills Hotel. She was seen in a graduation cap and shared the moment on her Instagram Story, thanking fans and followers for their support. “All of you guys have been on this journey with me,” she said in her speech, acknowledging the years of effort behind this achievement.
