Kid Rock talks about Hollywood’s growing support for Trump at MAGA rally

Kid Rock took the stage at President-elect Donald Trump’s MAGA Victory Rally on Sunday, held at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., and delivered a high-energy performance. The rockstar began his set with a powerful rendition of Sweet Home Alabama, followed by his 2022 hit we the people, which calls for unity. Before his performance, Kid Rock shared his thoughts on the shifting attitudes in both Washington, D.C., and Hollywood during an interview on Fox & Friends Weekend.

Speaking to hosts Lawrence Jones, Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt, and Brian Kilmeade, Kid Rock described the current atmosphere as feeling like “the rebirth of our nation.” He recalled the sense of unity he felt at a UFC fight shortly after the election, where prominent Trump supporters like Elon Musk and Dana White were also present. Reflecting on the moment, he said, “It felt like everybody was together, walking to the ring. There’s this overwhelming sense that America is back.”

Kid Rock observed a noticeable change in Hollywood’s stance toward Trump since his victory, noting that more celebrities are now openly supporting the former president. He humorously commented, “It’s like they’ve finally decided it’s safe to dive in after testing the waters for years. I’ve always said, better to have them on board than not.”

He also pointed out that Trump’s win has encouraged a broader acceptance of his leadership in entertainment circles. The rally itself featured performances by other artists who support Trump, including Jason Aldean and rapper Nelly, and even Carrie Underwood, who surprised many by announcing her participation at Trump’s inauguration.
