The unease intensified nearing episode 17, as artists like Amphibi posted a cryptic "the end" with a skull emoji, and Okubo Shunsuke shared sketches depicting animator exhaustion. Some subtly endorsed criticisms of the studio's taxing work environment.

Honehone, a past whistle-blower on MAPPA Studios, shed light on relentless staff expectations, revealing, that the entire staff tries to complete a project on an impossible schedule, and then one is only interested in seeing results and is not concerned about making improvements. His exact tweet read - "The entire staff somehow manages to complete a project on a schedule that would normally be impossible to meet, while raising hell, and then the people above them who only see the results say, 'What the hell, we can do it!' and fail to make improvements."

These revelations, though, raise concerns about Jujutsu Kaisen's ability to sustain its visual brilliance under current working conditions.
