Johnny Depp has been in the news for his ongoing
defamation lawsuit
against ex-wife
Amber Heard. Meanwhile, the actor is reported to have requested for the trial to be pushed back as he will soon be resuming work.
According to a Holywood report, Depp will soon resume the shoot of his upcoming project '
Fantastic Beasts 3
' in October. With many projects resuming the shoot as conditions improve in many cities, the David Yates directorial is reported to go on the floor once again next month.
The shoot of the third instalment of the popular
fantasy film
which will resume in October is expected to go on till February next year. Therefore, Depp has requested that the trial be postponed as it is scheduled to run from 11th to 28th January 2021.
Meanwhile, Depp is suing his ex-wife Heard with a defamation case of $50 million for what she wrote about him in a well-known newspaper in 2018. On the other hand, Heard is also expected to start the shoot of her next project '
Aquaman 2
' next year.
