John Hurt: I'm winning my cancer battle

Actor John Hurt, who has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, says he is optimistic of making a full recovery.

The 75-year-old V for Vendetta star announced about his illness in June. He has revealed his treatment is "going terrifically well," reported Female First.

"I can't say I worry about mortality, but it's impossible to get to my age and not have a little contemplation of it.
"We're all just passing time, and occupy our chair very briefly. But my treatment is going terrifically well, so I'm optimistic."
