Jimmy Kimmel Live launches L.A. fire relief donation center on Hollywood backlot

Jimmy Kimmel Live has transformed its Hollywood backlot into a resource donation center to support affected communities in response to the devastating wildfires sweeping through Los Angeles. Although the late-night show temporarily halted production due to the fires, host Jimmy Kimmel and his team are now focusing on relief efforts.

Via his Instagram handle, Jimmy Kimmel announced the initiative, inviting Los Angeles residents to contribute essential items for wildfire victims. "Fellow Angelenos – if you’re looking for a way to help those affected by the fires, we have a donation center in our backlot in Hollywood," he shared.



Located at 6901 Hawthorn Ave. in Los Angeles, the donation center opened on Monday, January 13, and will remain operational through Friday, January 17. The center accepts donations daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. PT. All collected items will be swiftly distributed to those in need, ensuring timely support for individuals and families impacted by the fires.

Take a note! The donation center is currently accepting the following items:

• Bottled water and Gatorade
• Baby food and diapers
• Pet food
• Non-perishable food items
• Sealed toiletries and hygiene products
• Packaged undergarments
• Baby wipes

Jimmy Kimmel expressed gratitude to the community for their support, encouraging people to spread the word. "Thank you for supporting and please spread the word to those in our neighborhood," he urged in his post.
