Jessica Simpson admits working on her next memoir after ‘Open Book’

‘I Belong To Me’ singer Jessica Simpson is about to embark on her next big and brand new project! The singer and actress recently revealed that she is planning on working on her memoir ‘pretty soon’, leaving fans in a flurry of excitement.While talking to Elle in a recent interview, the famed ‘The Love Guru’ actress revealed that she is “always writing”, further adding that she is “about to start another one”, referring to her memoir. Simpson further added that she is open to telling her story to the world in whatever way she can. “It’s the only way that I can confront and be honest with myself, if I want to live my life right and understand it. I journal my way through a lot of thoughts and stuff. It’s a relationship that I have with myself that I don’t mind sharing with the world,” she quipped. Jessica Simpson published her first memoir titled ‘Open Book’ in 2020. She worked on the book for a long time and delved deep into her life as a pop star, along with how everything has been for her in the past couple of years. The book was a big hit and became the talk of the town, especially due to how many of the chapters were dedicated to Nick Lachey, her ex-husband. The two were together from 2002 to 2006.At the time, Nick Lachey had admitted that he and his wife, Vanessa Lachey, had opted against reading Simpson’s book. While talking to Us Weekly, he had also admitted that the famed actress had not reached out to him before publishing her memoir. At the time, he had stated, “I have not read a single word.”The famed singer first started singing in church choirs, and later worked on her debut album, which remains unreleased. In 1999, after getting signed by one of the biggest record companies in the industry, she released her debut single, ‘I Wanna Love You Forever’, which became a massive hit amongst the masses. In the same year, she released her debut studio album, ‘Sweet Kisses’, which helped put her name in the market and raised her to fame and stardom.Simpson last released music in 2025 with her single ‘Use My Heart Against Me,’ marking her return to music after a very long time. Last year, she also appeared in one of the episodes of ‘All's Fair.’
