Jessica Biel set to star in and produce new peacock series 'The Good Daughter'

Actress Jessica Biel, known for her roles in both television and film, is gearing up for her next project on the small screen. The 42-year-old star will be starring in and producing the upcoming limited series titled "The Good Daughter" for Peacock.


In this psychological suspense thriller, Biel will portray one of the central characters, Charlotte Quinn, alongside her on-screen sister Samantha. The story revolves around the sisters' quest to rebuild their lives after enduring a traumatic event that shattered their family. As Charlotte, now a lawyer, becomes entangled in a new case unfolding in their hometown of Pikeville, she must confront her own past and unearth unsettling truths.

Adding to her role in front of the camera, Jessica Biel will also serve as an executive producer for the series through her production company, Iron Ocean, in collaboration with her producing partner, Michelle Purple.

"The Good Daughter" is based on the novel of the same name by acclaimed author Karin Slaughter. Slaughter will also be deeply involved in the series, writing all episodes and serving as an executive producer.
