Sources shared that Lopez is eager to move out of the home, as it holds memories of her time with Ben Affleck that she would rather leave behind.

An insider revealed that Lopez initially thought the house would sell quickly, especially after the updates she made. However, the unique and high-priced nature of the property has limited the pool of potential buyers. The source mentioned that Lopez feels like the house is a burden, describing it as "a noose around her neck." Walking through the mansion reportedly reminds her of difficult moments, as the space still feels tied to Affleck in many ways.

The property is a massive 38,000-square-foot estate, featuring 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, and five acres of land. Lopez and Affleck purchased it in May 2023, but by July, the couple decided to sell it. Shortly after, Affleck moved to a $20 million home in the Pacific Palisades, and Lopez filed for divorce on August 20, marking two years since their wedding in Georgia.

The source added that the slow sale has been a frustrating experience for Lopez, even though she understands that homes of this magnitude appeal to only a select group of buyers. Despite her efforts to refresh the property and even explore unconventional ways to shift the energy, she continues to feel weighed down by the emotional imprints of her past relationship.
