Jennifer Lawrence calls husband Cooke Maroney an ‘anchor’: Reveals how they keep things alive

Opposites work, as per a recent interview where ‘Die My Love’ star Jennifer Lawrence delved deep into her marriage with Cooke Maroney. The star revealed the things she believes make their partnership work so well and how their marriage remains alive. The couple has been married since 2019 and shares two children.One of the main things that the actress pointed out during the ‘Smartless’ podcast was that she married someone who is her polar opposite in most things. While talking to hosts Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett about her family, she mentioned how her husband is the “anchor” of the whole family, fondly recalling memories she has shared with the 41-year-old. “He is so organized,” she quips, adding that “everything is ordered. Like, I have to keep the closet doors closed, and I have my little jobs that I work really hard to do.” She also shared that even her children are on a strict schedule, which works for the family. While Lawrence and Maroney keep a schedule for everything, she does not always see eye to eye with her husband on the matter. The star confessed during the interview that she often has a hard time following through, but she still gets the importance. On the other hand, the ‘No Hard Feelings’ actress revealed that Maroney is “good at keeping a schedule.” She also shared, “We've learned to keep our marriage alive. I have a 15-minute wiggle room.” She added that things are ordered, and it helps their relationship as well.Maroney and Lawrence met for the first time in 2018 through a mutual friend, and ended up getting married by the end of 2019. They have two children together. The couple mainly keeps their relationship and their private lives away from the public eye. Cooke Maroney is a well-known and established American art gallery director. The two were last spotted together on the night of the Golden Globes awards at the Beverly Hilton hotel venue.
