James: The Coolest Person of the Year

James Franco currently seems to be a favourite all around the world! The actor, who has been nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actor (Drama) for his outstanding performance as Aron Ralston in Danny Boyle’s ‘127 Hours’ was named by Time magazine as last year's ‘The Coolest Person of The Year’.
The Yale PhD student in English, who recently published a collection of short stories, has a lot of exciting things up his sleeve besides the worldwide release of ‘127 Hours’ in 2011.Next month he will be co-hosting the Oscars with Anne Hathaway. His upcoming lineup of films includes the comedy flick Your Highness opposite Natalie Portman and a sci-fi film Rise of the Apes, with Freida Pinto. Also he's said to be directing an adaptation of William Faulkner's As I Lay Dying.
