Hollywood star Jake Gyllenhaal is all set to take to the ring with UFC champion Conor McGregor in their upcoming film 'Roadhouse'. Adapted from the screenplay of the 80s cult classic 'Road House' by David Lee Henry and Hilary Henkin, this reimagined film promises a perfect blend of action and drama.

While the Gyllenhaal and McGregor may be at logger heads with each other in the film, off-screen they seem to be each other's biggest cheerleaders. Ahead of the film's preiere, the Hollywood star expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to work alongside the UFC fighter and remarked, "Conor is a legend, and I was grateful and humbled to work with him and do fight scenes with him…and also equally terrified. We needed a character who you really felt could beat Dalton, and we got that in Conor’s performance as Knox."

In turn, McGregor commended Gyllenhaal's professionalism and found an interesting similarity between their careers. He said, "Jake has 75 movies under his belt, I have 75 bar fights under my belt. We were a perfect combination together."

In the Prime Video movie, Gyllenhaal steps into the shoes of ex-UFC fighter Dalton, who assumes the role of a bouncer at a roadhouse in the Florida Keys, only to discover that the paradise harbours hidden dangers.have been effusive in their praise for each other, underscoring their mutual respect and admiration. 'Roadhouse', releases on on March 21 with dubs available in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
