For such a beautiful fragrance to have a male association has taken fans of the scent by surprise, and there are many mixed reactions to the news.

According to many young fans, actors Chris Hemsworth, George Clooney and Robert Downey Jr might have been good choices too. Critics however say that if teenage heartthrob Justin Beiber's perfume snapped up his woman's perfume called Someday, why not Pitt?<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p> <span>But the iconic perfume which dates back to first half of the 1900s, and has had celebrities like Nicole Kidman and Audrey Tautou as part of their campaigns, needs a more elegant and timeless face to launch it, say some fans of the fragrance.<br /> <br /> While some younger women are happy to see eye candy like Pitt taking centrestage, others are not too excited. Some feel that Pitt is just not elegant enough for such a traditional fragrance. Younger fans also feel that Pitt is 'unattainable' as he has been with Angelina Jolie for years and has seven children. "Women will notice it much more," she says. "The brand is already done plenty to prove itself over decades, so now it is more like icing on the cake. An actor like Brad Pitt will grab more eyeballs and in the beauty business many people use brands quite blindly.
