“I’ve always wanted to shoot in India as I feel Iran and India have the same cultural sensibilities,” he explains.
Shareen Mantri Kedia, producer, Eye Candy Films, says,“ We are proud to be associated as producers of this film. Majidi is a universally loved director known for his simplistic narratives and inspiring dramas. We are confident that he will capture the essence of North India with his unique vision and feel for emotional values in a beautiful manner.”
