Actress Leslie Jones, who was recently subjected to ethnic slur on social media, says she is unfortunately used to such derogatory statements. The 48-year-old "Ghostbusters" star, who came back on Twitter after quitting the platform officially, opened up about the controversy and said she is not going away anymore, reported Entertainment Weekly.

"Unfortunately I'm used to the insults. That's unfortunate. But what scared me was the injustice of a gang of people jumping against you for such a sick cause," Jones said.Calling the comments of Twitteratti obscene, she said, "It's so gross and mean and unnecessary. So it was just like one of those things of, like, Okay, so if I hadn't said anything nobody would have ever knew about this."

She also replied to those who claimed that by silencing certain accounts, she was violating the rights to free speech of the users who wrote against her."Hate speech and freedom of speech, two different things," she said.

After getting support from her fans, the actress said, "It makes you go, Ah man, you know, I'm not going away," Jones added.
