Welsh singer Duffy reveals that she is on the verge of a nervous breakdown because she is unable to handle her meteoric rise to fame.
The 24-year-old singer shot to fame with her hit single "Mercy���, reports thesun.co.uk.
She said: ���I thought I was superhuman. But there are pressures about being in the public eye. I'm border-line on a nervous breakdown.
I'm never calm any more. I think: 'Can I handle this? Do I want to disappear?'���
Duffy, who spends 80 percent of her time in the US, added: ���It would be very easy to become a recluse.���
