Much has been written about Meghan Markle's first official solo outing with Queen Elizabeth II. The latter gifted her a pair of diamond earrings.
However, it seems to pale in comparison to what Kate Middleton received when she married Prince William in 2011, She received many such gifts from the various members of the family. These include:
Anmer Hall - It is a house that was gifted to the couple and is located on the Sandringham estate.
They lived there for over two years before their return to Kensington Palace.
Princess Diana's engagement ring - When the couple got engaged in 2019, Kate was presented with Princess Diana's engagement ring - a band with a 12-carat sapphire surrounded by 14 diamonds set in 18-carat white gold.
Sapphire and diamond earrings - Prince William also gave Kate a pair of matching sapphire and diamond earrings around the time of their wedding. The Duchess had them customised into drop earrings and wore it on her tour to Canada.
An eternity ring - The Prince is also believed to have gifted her a diamond eternity ring after the birth of their son Prince George in 2013.
The Ballon Bleu de Cartier watch - Kate received the Ballon Bleu de Cartier watch for her third wedding anniversary in 2014. Not only is the watch set with a tiny sapphire, but the brand has a special significance for Prince William as his mother, Princess Diana always wore a Cartier watch.
