In a recent interview, director Todd Phillips revealed that there was a particular scene in the theatrical cut of the film that was not included because he thought it was too ‘insane’.
He added that on days when the shoot would end early, Joaquin and he would do something that they referred to as a study of insomnia. The two would dabble in some fun things and set up cameras to capture them. For instance, they light up a kitchen or do something by the sink or the fridge.
