Haunting final post appears on stepdaughter Lucy-Bleu Knight's Instagram 3 hours after Slash announces her passing: 'I am sorry'

Slash’s stepdaughter Lucy-Bleu Knight passed away at age 25 on July 19. Her death was announced by the Guns N’ Roses guitarist, and her autopsy is scheduled by the Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s Office. Knight died at a private residence, but no further details have been released.
Three hours after Slash announced her passing, a haunting final post appeared on Knight’s Instagram.In the post, she apologized for her past actions, expressing regret for her behavior and hoping her soul could evolve. The selfie showed Knight looking away from the camera with a serious expression, leading followers to speculate she had scheduled the post before her death.
"Whether I made you feel excluded, manipulated/ controlled you, told you to quit your day job from the comfort of being financially supported by my parents, or drowned real issues in toxic positivity-I am sorry. Countless missed opportunities and connections due to a disgustingly big ego, insecure heart and fear of being vulnerable. May my soul learn to evolve from my poor job at being Lucy-Bleu. Peace," read her post.

In his post, Slash described Knight as “an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul” and requested privacy for the family. He also asked for minimal social media speculation during this difficult time. Due to the unforeseen circumstances, Slash canceled four upcoming dates of his solo S.E.R.P.E.N.T tour.

The message from the guitarist read, "Lucy-Bleu Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, California, on July 19, 2024. Lucy-Bleu was an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul. The family asks for privacy at this time and requests that social media speculation be kept to a minimum as they grieve and process this devastating loss."

Knight was the daughter of Slash’s longtime partner, Meegan Hodges, and her ex, Mark Knight. Slash and Hodges first dated in 1989 and rekindled their relationship in 2015. Slash shares two sons, London and Cash, with his ex-wife, Perla Ferrar.
