Gwyneth 's haircut an emotional transition
The actress says she was "very, very attached to her hair."
The actress began growing her hair before filmmaker Bruce Paltrow died in 2002. She kept it even when she married Coldplay rocker Chris Martin and gave birth to their two children.
Contactmusic.com quotes Paltrow as saying: "I was very, very attached to my hair. I grew it when I was pregnant. I still had hair from when my father was alive. I made it like a talisman. And then I was ready to let go of it, and so I chopped it off and ... aaah!"
