"You would never attempt to cover a Radiohead song. I don't think covering '

' is a great idea, unless you do the USD 200 million Tom Cruise version and you set it in a whole futuristic world. But there was something about Chris' unique quality that will be hard to supersede," Guy told Britain's Total Film magazine.

Guy has previously joked about the idea of remaking 'Memento', writing on Twitter, "I wonder why they'd do a remake anyway? I mean we all know how it starts..."

The remake, which movie boss Monika says will, "stay true to Christopher Nolan's vision and deliver a memorable movie that is every bit as edgy, iconic and award-worthy as the original," is yet to receive a planned release date.
