Golden Globes 2021 Highlights: ‘Nomadland,’ ‘Borat Subsequent Moviefilm’ win top awards

The golden night of Hollywood – the Golden Globe Awards 2021 were wrapped with much fanfare with Hollywood royalty and television’s greats coming together to celebrate the best in cinema. Although the celebrations were watered down this year owing to the Covid-19 threat, it did not fall short of the glitz, glamour and grandeur. Hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler kept the audience entertained with a dual act, on two different stages this year. Popular show 'The Crown' won four awards while Taylor Simone Ledward accepted the award for Best Actor on behalf of her late husband Chadwick Boseman. ‘Nomadland,’ ‘Borat Subsequent Moviefilm’ won top awards. As the record books tell us, the ones who win the Globes, eventually go on to get Oscar glory.
