Gladiator superstar Russell Crowe is wished by ex-wife on his 59th birthday

Daniel Spencer put up an old picture of her ex-husband Russell Crowe on Instagram and wished him a happy birthday in a roundabout manner. The picture showed a joyful Russell Crowe playing with his two young sons who are now 19 and 16 years old.
Here’s what she wrote on her Instagram post. “20 years ago today, I married the father of my boys. While it is no longer our anniversary, it is still that guy’s birthday.” She hashtagged him and wished him a happy birthday. The couple had been married on the same day 20 years ago. They split in 2012 and had known each other since 1990. Since then, Russell Crowe has moved on and is now dating another Australian actress and is often spotted with her playing tennis.

In a July 2020 post on social media, Crowe had asked his boys to come over and stay with him during the period of the Covid quarantine. However, they had chosen to stay with their mother and Crowe had told an Australian newspaper at that time that he was not too impressed with their decision. He had also told the newspaper that “my boys lived with their mom and they are pretty well settled there.”
