In a shocking revelation, a source has said that Halliwell begged for forgiveness from Victoria Beckham, who was the most shattered by her disloyalty.The source claimed that Ginger Spice began to persuade her former bandmates to settle their differences, but her biggest difficulty was convincing Posh. “Geri began getting in contact with Victoria again in 2004. She knew how hurt Victoria was but she also knew how to push the right buttons,” a newspaper quoted the source, as saying. “Geri broke down in front of Victoria, apologised for leaving the band in the way she did and begged for her forgiveness,” the source added. The source also revealed that Posh started sympathising with Geri after hearing her distressing story, and eventually gave a green light to the reunion plan. “She also told Victoria how awful her life was at the time. She was lonely, confused, didn’t have a man and didn’t even have a place to call home. Victoria started to feel sorry for Geri,” the source said.
