Gal Gadot confirms return in 'Wonder Woman 3'; actress developing film with James Gunn and Peter Safran

Gal Gadot will soon pick up her lasso of truth and swing into action in the third part of the 'Wonder Woman 3' franchise. The actress, in her latest interview, confirmed that she is developing the film with DC bosses James Gunn and Peter Safran.

The 38-year-old, who will soon be seen playing a secret agent in Netflix’s Heart of Stone, revealed that she will make her return to the big screen as the demigoddess, Diana. In a statement to comicbook.com, Gal expressed her love for the character and went on to reveal that she heard from James and Peter that they were going to develop 'Wonder Woman 3' together.


This confirmation comes at a time when several films in the DCEU were scrapped after Gunn and Safran took over. While Henry Cavill hung up his cape as Super Man, Dwayne Johnson announced that his 'Black Adam' sequel has been stalled. Ben Affleck also seemingly confirmed that he will not return as the Batman in upcoming films to make way for a younger actor to take on the role.



After this confirmation, it looks like Gal will be sticking around much longer. She will join Ezra Miller as the Flash and Jason Momoa as Aquaman.
