‘Field of Dreams’ (1989)

This 1989 sports and fantasy film is based on the life of Ray Kinsella, a farmer and a huge baseball fan who hears a voice in his head. She discovers that her mother had been having a 15-year-long affair with a married man. Her present relationships slowly start to mirror those she read about in the letters. The film was directed by none other than Amy Holden Jones.

‘Nowhere To Hide’ (1999)

Released in 1987, this action film follows Amy Madigan, Daniel Hugh Kelly, and Robin MacEachern in the lead roles as a family on the run from corrupt Marine officers.
