Vin Diesel’s Fast and Furious tenth franchise film, Fast X, has become the first Hollywood film of the year to join the Rs 100-crore club by making a cool Rs 105 crore in its first ten days in India. The Warner Bros-Universal Pictures film stars a galaxy of action heroes – Vin Diesel, Jason Momoa together with Rita Moreno, Brie Larson, Jason Statham, John Cena and Charlize Theron, including Helen Mirren and Dwayne The Rock Johnson, and has smashed box office records not only in India, but worldwide too. The action film has made more than US $500 million already at the world box office. The film’s run in its home country has clocked up more than USD 108 million.
Fast X is the story of Dom Toretto played by the charismatic Vin Diesel and his family, and the film shows them being hunted by the drug world’s bad boy played by Jason Momoa, the Villain who chases them all over the world providing the much-needed action, crazy car chases and hand-to-hand combat that marks the action franchise.
