Fans were eagerly awaiting the first episode of Khloé Kardashian’s podcast, ‘Khloé in Wonderland’, which was launched on 8 January, but it appears the response has not lived up to expectations.

In the first episode, the 40-year-old media personality chatted with her close friend and “brother” Scott Disick, marking his first podcast appearance. Khloé had been promoting the series with great excitement on Instagram, hinting at engaging discussions with prominent guests such as Disick, Jay Shetty, and Mel Robbins. She suggested that the show would cover a broad range of topics, from family dynamics and relationships to deeper personal matters, including her tumultuous past with ex Tristan Thompson.

However, the reception was far from enthusiastic. Fans on social media were quick to express their disappointment, with one user on X (formerly Twitter) questioning, “Who do they think their target audience is? I’m in my 30s and can’t picture a generation after me getting into this.” Another user quipped, “Khloé in Wonderland — the real wonder is why she thought this was a good idea.” On Reddit, users echoed similar sentiments, with one person admitting, “I wouldn’t even know about it if it weren’t for this sub.”

The primary grievance among listeners seemed to be the lack of meaningful discussion. The Kardashians are known for sharing intimate details about their lives, yet many felt Khloé missed a chance to address more pressing and serious subjects. Notably, the devastating fires in Los Angeles, which had been widely discussed elsewhere, were omitted. One Reddit user expressed frustration, saying, “She has ZERO tact. She could have still premiered the podcast with Scott and talked about fire relief charities or things people can do to help. Like anything! I’m sure nothing of substance was discussed.” Another one wrote, “Good for you. Not sure why this is more important news than the fires in California.”

Rather than offering a gripping, thoughtful conversation, the first episode felt more like a casual catch-up session. Although Khloé had assured fans that no topic would be off-limits, it seemed that ‘Khloé in Wonderland’ lacked the depth many had expected, leaving listeners wondering if the podcast would ever dive into more meaningful or insightful content.
