Hollywood actor George Clooney has surprised his fans by changing his famous hairstyle. Known for his classic salt and pepper hair, Clooney has now gone completely brunette. He showed off his new dark brown hair while meeting fans after the preview of his Broadway play 'Good Night,' And 'Good Luck in New York City' on Tuesday night. The actor dyed his hair for his role as Edward R. Murrow, a famous journalist, in the stage production.

While Clooney changed his hair for professional reasons, many fans are having a hard time adjusting to his new look. People on social media quickly shared their thoughts, and many of them made it clear they prefer his original silver-haired style. Some fans commented that Clooney’s salt and pepper hair made him look younger and more charming. Others joked that he doesn’t look like the George Clooney they know and love without his signature look. Comments like “Bring salt and pepper back!” and “Terrible! Get real George back!!” were common among his followers. One fan even said, “The new hair actually makes him look older. I never expected that.”

Despite the criticism, most people understand that George’s new hair color is part of his commitment to his Broadway role. It’s not a personal style choice or a sudden decision. However, this change comes at a time when rumors about a possible expensive divorce from his wife, Amal Clooney, have been circulating. Some think the timing of the hair change is curious, but there is no connection between the two events.

Interestingly, George Clooney himself knew his darker hair might cause a stir. He spoke to The New York Times earlier and admitted, “My wife is going to hate it because nothing makes you look older than when an older guy dyes his hair. My kids are going to just laugh at me nonstop.” Clooney seemed aware that his family and fans might not be big fans of his brunette look.

Even though Clooney has switched up his style for now, many hope he will bring back his well-loved salt and pepper hair once his Broadway run is over. For the time being, fans will just have to get used to seeing George Clooney in his “brunette era” while he plays his new role on stage.
