Many fans have been left wondering since then about whether there will be a sequel or not. Now, famed producer GG has officially confirmed that the project is underway.

As per reports shared by producer Jerry Bruckheimer, the 2025 film is all set to have a follow-up sequel underway. While attending the Hollywood Reporter’s Nominees Night on February 10, the producer confirmed that a sequel project is in the works and that he is very excited about it as well.

He shared, “We’re working on the story. It’s really good. We’re talking to Lewis Hamilton. We’re getting it going through him and pitching him the ideas and see what he thinks.” The news of the sequel has sent fans into a frenzy as the film did amazing at the box office during its release last year. As per Box Office Mojo, the film garnered around USD 633 million in earnings from its box office worldwide. The film also scored 4 Oscar nominations this year’s award season as well.
