Marvel star Evangeline Lilly announces decision to quit acting and step into her dharma: I might return to Hollywood one day

Hollywood star Evangeline Lilly has revealed her decision to step away from 'wealth and fame'.

The 'Ant-Man and The Wasp' actress took to her handles to share her decision to quit Hollywood. The actress made the announcement via an Instagram post, where she expressed her gratitude and joy.

"I am so filled with joy and contentment today as I live out my vision," she said and added, "Praise God, I feel so grateful for my blessings. Stepping away from what seems like the obvious choice (wealth and fame) can feel scary at times, but stepping into your dharma replaces the fear with fulfilment."


While she intends to leave the film industry behind, she said that she "might return to Hollywood one day, but, for now, this is where I belong. A new season has arrived, and I AM READY…and I AM HAPPY."

Lilly included a nearly 20-year-old clip in her post, featuring a moment from the set of her hit TV show 'Lost'. In the clip, she was asked what she envisioned for herself in 10 years, to which she replied that she hoped to be a retired actress, with a family, and involved in humanitarian work.


Evangeline and her partner, Norman Kali, share two children.
