Erin Jayne Plummer's husband passes away at 49 after her suicide; leaving their three children orphaned

In a tragic incident, Alan Plummer, husband of the late TV star Erin Jayne Plummer, has tragically passed away at age 49, two years after Erin’s untimely death. His passing has left their three children orphaned. Alan was formerly the director of a now-closed company, while Erin was widely recognized for her appearances on the Australian chat show Studio 10.

According to a New South Wales Police Force, “Officers from the Northern Beaches Police Area Command will prepare a report for the Coroner regarding the death of a 49-year-old man in Freshwater on Sunday.” No additional details were provided.

According to an insider quoted by Mail Online, Alan’s death was described as 'tragic.' He had recently sold the family’s longtime home in Freshwater, where they had lived for over two decades. In 2022, Erin’s devastated colleagues shared the news of her passing on social media, remembering her as 'a gorgeous human inside and out.' Erin’s friend and colleague, Sarah Harris, called her a 'gold medal mum' in a heartfelt tribute, as reported by the Mirror.

The report further stated that A GoFundMe page was set up following Erin’s passing to support her family. The page stated that Erin had worked for Studio 10, as well as other Australian shows for over two decades, including MTV, The Morning Show, and Totally Active TV.

According to the report, she had also done numerous voiceovers for television. The fundraiser aimed to provide funds for a gardener and housekeeper to help maintain the Plummer household and assist with other needs. Heartbroken friends, family, and supporters managed to raise over $20,000 (£10,900) to help her family during this difficult time.
