Singer Elton John and his parter David Furnish debuted the first look of their son Zachary on the cover of a magazine. The couple, who welcomed son Zachary on Christmas Day with the help of a surrogate mother after they failed to adopt a child from Ukraine, said they were present during the birth of the child.
The child is seen wearing a pair of dungarees and John said he could not believe how fast the child arrived into the world.
"He shot out like a rocket. There just aren't proper words to describe that feeling. It's indescribable. It was just, 'We have a son!'" John added.
The 'Candle in the Wind' hitmaker admits he broke down when he held the child for the first time.
"People ask, 'Did you cry (during the birth)? You must have been so emotional?' And I say no, because it was all so quick. When I cried was when we brought him home. We hadn't had time to celebrate Christmas yet. We had a big tree, all the presents, and I said to David, put on some carols... As soon as it started, and I was holding Zachary in my arms, I cried," added the singer.
