Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi secure real estate deal worth $102 million

It seems that the most expensive real estate residential deal ever to have been done in Santa Barbara county has been now executed by Ellen DeGeneres and her actress wife, Portia de Rossi. It seems the two don’t just make money out of their professions, but also through buying and selling expensive real estate.
Their most recent purchase is a $70 million, spent for twin properties in the scenic seaside location of Carpinteria in Santa Barbara county, according to the websites, Siteline Santa Barbara and Dirt.
The two already owned properties worth $450 million, bought a Tuscan mansion and land alongside it. The scenic mansion is built on a height and commands a majestic view of the Pacific ocean.
The property has five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a home theatre, spas and a pool. They already own two more properties in the celebrity neighbourhood of Santa Barbara.
Ellen DeGeneres is a well-known American comedian, television host, actor, writer and producer. Till recently, she was the host of the American daytime television variety comedy show, The Ellen Degeneres show which ran for a record 3,294 episodes over 19 seasons.
Her unique brand of hilarity won her several awards, including 33 Daytime Emmy awards. The show was cancelled by Warner Bros after there were allegations that she made racist comments many times directed at her employees.
