Elle to return to TV
Aussie supermodel Elle Macpherson is set to return to the TV screen with CW's drama pilot Beautiful Life.
The 44-year-old star appeared in a string of movies, including The Edge, If Lucy Fell, and Batman & Robin. She also had a recurring role on hit TV series Friends in the 1990s before leaving her acting career to focus on modelling.
Elle has been cast opposite former O.C.
Elle will play Claudia, a tough-talking 80s supermodel who owns top New York modelling agency Focus Models.
