After portraying Stephen Hawking in 'The Theory of Everything', Eddie Redmayne is now playing a transgender pioneer in a new drama.
The first photo from the movie 'The Danish Girl' which arrived online on February 26 sees the Oscar-winning actor sporting a green dress and red lipstick, reported Ace Showbiz.

In the upcoming movie directed by Tom Hooper, Redmayne, 33, plays Danish-born artist Einar Wegener who is known as one of the first people who underwent sex reassignment surgery.

The painter was later known as Lili Elbe. The movie, which also stars Alicia Vikander and Amber Heard, is set for release later this year.
