During the event, the director of the film, Derek Cianfrance, opened up about his experience of working on the film along with the cast members as well. He praised Tatum’s performance during filming and even talked about how they had to film very fast.

‘Roofman’ had its first exclusive screening at the Crosby Street Hotel in New York City on September 8. During the event, the director of the film opened up about his experience and shared how Tatum went “full Monty” during filming, as per reports from People.Stating how the production of the upcoming film was underway “at the speed of light”, Cianfrance shared that “It seemed like every moment with Peter Dinklage, everything he did was interesting. His comic facility was infectious”. Cianfrance also delved into his favourite moment from the film, sharing that he loved it when Tatum and Dinklage’s characters met for the first time while filming the project. Channing Tatum plays the lead role of the retired officer and thief, while Peter Dinklage takes over as the store manager of the Toys R Us facility that Tatum’s character is hiding in. “There's this big scene in the movie where he catches Channing Tatum showering in the middle of the night.
You can write that scene, but then you have to shoot it. And it's… Channing had to show up”, the director recalled. Another hilarious moment he revealed was that Channing Tatum was bare for the scene, and that was also the first time ever that both of the titular actors interacted at all. “It was pretty fun having Peter and Channing interact that way. That was the first time they met because I tried to keep my actors apart because I wanted them to be surprised. So Channing and Peter never saw each other. About ‘Roofman’

‘Roofman’ follows the plot of a former soldier and well-known thief escaping from prison. He finds solace in a ‘Toys R Us’ facility and starts leading a double life while lying low. Things take a turn for the worse for him, however, when he ends up falling in love with a divorced mother. Things from his past start to uncover themselves, and start causing trouble for the thief as he tries to manage everything while not getting caught by the authorities.
