Demi claimed in astatement filed with the Federal Court last week that New Idea had infringed onher copyright of the pictures by putting them on the cover of its March 8edition, and across two pages inside the magazine.
The actress isseeking unspecified damages from the magazine's publisher Magazines, owned by, and has asked for theprofits the company reaped from the shots.
In the claim, Demi alsostated that she had agreed to buy the photographs from party organiser JeffreyBest during a conversation on the day of the party, and that the photographerhad also signed a pre-party deal to hand them to Best.
However, itwas not revealed in the statement how the photographs came into the possessionof New Idea.
