Demi Moore supports Bruce Willis’ wife, Emma's decision to live away amid backlash: "She has been so dedicated.."

Demi Moore, ‘The Substance’ actress, defended Bruce Willis’ wife Emma Heming Willis for her decision not to live together with the actor after he was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD). While many accused the model of being ignorant and selfish, the Golden Globe awardee hailed her for doing a masterful job.In an appearance on The Oprah Podcast with the renowned host Oprah Winfrey, Moore opined about her ex-husband’s diagnosis and how his wife has been prolifically handling the vulnerable situation. When the host asked about the actress’s experience while Emma takes on the job of being the caretaker, she emphasized that there is no given roadmap of how to figure things out. Additionally, Moore said that there has been a connection even after being an ex-wife, but Heming came out stronger, despite being in a critical position. “I have so much compassion for Emma in this, being a young woman. There's no way that anybody could have anticipated where this was going to go,” the 62-year-old actress said, before adding, “And I really think she's done a masterful job. She has been so dedicated to forging the right path.” In the same interview, Demi Moore mentioned that watching Bruce Willis and his declining health has been heartwrenching. “It's hard to see somebody who was so, you know, vibrant and strong and so directed shift into this other parts of themself," she said.Bruce Willis and Demi Moore tied the knot in 1987, before being separated in 1999 and finalising the divorce a year later. They share three children: Rumer Willis, 37; Scout LaRue Willis, 34; and Tallulah Willis, 31. He later got married to Emma Heming in 2009, and has been going strong after all the difficulties.
