'Deadpool' has officially become the highest-grossing R-rated movie of all time worldwide from the wider X-Men film. Ryan Reynolds's comic book movie, overtook 'The Matrix Reloaded' haul of USD 742 million, reported Digital Spy.
'Deadpool' to get a sequel The action comedy has scooped USD 754 million till now. Fending off sharp competition from the likes of 'X-Men Origins:
Wolverine
', the original trilogy, 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' and 'X-Men First Class'.
'Days of Future Past' came in second with USD 747 million, while Brett Ratner's 'X-Men: The Last Stand' grossed USD 459 million, in third place.
The original 'X-Men' movie, directed by
Bryan Singer, has made USD 296m while 'Wolverine' made USD 373 million.
