David Beckham and Victoria Beckham 'feel betrayed' by their son, Brooklyn; hope for mending their relationship

The Beckham household smells of trouble as David and Victoria “feel betrayed” by their son, Brooklyn. The cut has been deep after Brooklyn decided not to show up at his father’s 50th birthday, and the wound doesn’t seem to heal, as there have been no texts or messages since the event.

What happened between the Beckhams?

According to US Weekly, the Beckham couple feels betrayed after their son, Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz-Beckham, did not show up at the party earlier this month, calling it a ‘blow.’ “Victoria and David haven’t called, texted or messaged Brooklyn directly since the birthday party,” the source stated. The crux of the drifting apart seems to be ‘very deep tension rooted in control and different plans for Brooklyn’s future.’


“Nicola comes from a powerful family. David and Victoria are used to being in control [of situations like this], and there has been a shift,” the source further added.

A couple of moons ago, Brooklyn attributed a new line of hot sauce, Cloud23, to Nicola, who hails from an American power couple, for being an inspiring wife. While the close friends and family seem to think that the mending won’t be happening any time soon, the Beckham couple longs for it.


“Nicola and Brooklyn are incredibly happy together, dedicated to building a marriage based on unconditional love, caring, support and family. It seems this exposure to a healthy relationship has made Brooklyn question his own family and upbringing,” the source added.

The last ray of hope died...

Well, in addition to relationship issues, Brooklyn avoided going to the 50th birthday party because he disapproved of Romeo Beckham dating Kim Turnball, which felt like the last thread of hope getting broken.

While Nicola tried to get the problem resolved and the family back together, the recent events have caused that to come to an end as well. “Nicola and Brooklyn have a mutual desire for Brooklyn to explore his interests and grow as a person. That is what is causing the family rift,” Nicola concluded.
