Indian actor Darshan has been in the news for his arrest in a case involving the death of a man. From Darshan to Hollywood star Alec Baldwin, rapper Snoop Dogg and others, here are some shocking and tragic instances where famous personalities were involved in murder cases.

Shocking details have emerged from the probe into the murder of a man who allegedly made derogatory comments about Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa's female friend, Pavithra Gowda. Police sources revealed that Pavithra instigated Darshan to punish the man, leading to a violent plan that led to the man's death. The victim's body was later dumped in a stormwater drain and discovered by a food delivery boy who alerted the police.

In a tragic incident that shook Hollywood, actor Alec Baldwin was involved in an accidental shooting on the set of the film 'Rust'. The incident occurred when a prop gun discharged live rounds, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza. The case sparked widespread debate about safety protocols on film sets and led to several lawsuits. Baldwin has repeatedly denied responsibility, insisting he did not pull the trigger on the gun, which should not have contained a live round. Surveillance footage captured Stokes walking past the driver's side window of the Jeep before doubling back to gun down his victim and flee the scene. The actor has reportedly claimed he had 'no idea' who his alleged victim was and has denied the charges against him.

Actor Ryan Grantham, known for his role in 'Riverdale,' was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of his mother. Grantham, turned himself in to the police shortly after shooting his 64-year-old mother, Barbara Waite, in the back of the head in 2020. According to Deadline, the Supreme Court in Vancouver handed down the mandatory sentence for second-degree murder, which includes a minimum of 14 years before eligibility for parole.

In 1993, rapper Snoop Dogg was charged with the murder of a rival gang member, along with his bodyguard. The bodyguard was acquitted on the grounds of self-defence, but Snoop Dogg faced a prolonged legal battle. It wasn't until 1996 that he was acquitted of the charges. Ricardo Medina Jr, best known for his role in the series 'Power Rangers Wild Force', was arrested for the murder of his roommate, Joshua Sutter. According to the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, Ricardo got into a heated argument that turned physical leading to the actor stabbing Sutter in the abdomen with a sword. Ricardo called 911 after the stabbing, but Sutter was pronounced dead on his arrival at the hospital.
